2. Booking with us

What information is being collected?

If you book a break with us – we will ask you for your name, address, and contact email and phone numbers.

Who is collecting it?

We use a third party booking system to manage our booking calendar at Somerset Yurts.

The company we use is SuperControl (http://www.supercontrol.co.uk/).

They provide booking and calendar management for approximately 29,000 other holiday properties as well as us and adhere to all relevant data protection standards.

Your booking information will be stored on their servers.

If you book a holiday with us via one of the third party sites, for example: coolcamping, airbnb or qualityunearthed, your data is very likely stored on their servers, and will also be synchronized to our booking system at SuperControl. You will be able to view the privacy policies of the third party on their site.

How is it collected?

The booking form on our website is a page hosted on the SuperControl system which allows you to input your contact information which is then stored on SuperControl servers.

Why is it being collected?

We need this data to be able to communicate with you to confirm your booking dates, payment, and provide you information to assist you in your stay.

How will it be used?

We will use your email and phone to communicate with you before and during your stay, we also send a feedback email after your stay. We need to process your data as we have Legitimate Interest in providing you with information about your holiday with us.

Who will it be shared with?

We do not share your information with any 3rd parties. Your information will be in our SuperControl booking system and potentially a 3rd party booking system if you booked your holiday via another website.
