The Monkton Inn

Found down the hill in the local village, just a stone’s throw from the farm, The Monkton is warm and welcoming, offering fresh home cooking using local produce, at sensible prices. The Monkton is a popular place to eat (they won The Somerset Life Magazine award for Best Country Pub of the Year 2012) and you’ll usually need to book in advance. The Maypole Inn

The Maypole Inn is a 5-10 minute drive from the Yurts, it serves traditional pub food using locally produced Somerset meat and seasonal vegetables wherever possible. They do a great Sunday roast. Call 01823 412286 to book.

Order holiday food in advance from  Somerset Local Food Direct (Tel: 01458 830801). Place an order by 9am Tuesday, giving Somerset Yurts as the delivery address and date of arrival. It will be delivered here on Friday for us to put in the fridge ready for your arrival.
