Planning permission

Well we’ve made another big step toward getting up and running – the planning application was submitted last weekend to Taunton Deane! :)

Sadly, we did get a call to say it was currently invalid and they require further information – they’re going to let us know what that further information is over the next few days…..hoping its not too onerous.

  1. We are planning on setting up a small yurt holiday site in our field and are looking into the planning process. What do you need to setup and what planning permission do you need?

  2. Hi Nathan – thanks for the comment – we’re still going through the process ourselves so I can’t really say! Where are you based? We had a meeting today with the our local council Tourism Officer, and Agricultural Development Officer which was really useful, they provided some really useful ideas, and sanity checked our thoughts so far – I’d recommend that as a first call, with business plans etc :)
